- Things you can try besides swapping the SIO cable:
- Check/change the power supplies : 1050 9v AC 2-3A. Indus GT (DC?), Eclaire XL 5v dc 1-2A
- Check the ribbon cables to the SIO board; one of mine got stuck on a header during transp... - 8B 01:44 PM Developer: RE: Use a real floppy drive?
- I haven't gotten a chance to test on booting from one, but I have tested 3 1050 drives and a Indus GT drive. I was trying my XF551 that was working perfectly as well but for some reason won't power on now. I will do some more testing thi...

- FO 09:24 PM Developer: RE: Use a real floppy drive?

- FO 09:46 PM Developer: RE: SD Card
- It has to support 512 byte sectors and SPI mode. I tend to use 1-2GB.
I've not tried larger, has anyone else? - Anyone know the maximum size of memory card to use?

- FO 06:37 PM Developer: RE: Any boards arrived?
- Some other useful notes from chats online about the boards:
---
What is included is:
i) Main board with all the important bits
ii) Add-on board with SIO, PBI, Cart, SIO2PC USB and joystick ports
iii) 40 pin cables to connect them ... - FO 06:33 PM Developer: RE: Any boards arrived?
- I should add, I made some simple 'get started' videos. The core has moved on somewhat since, now it stores profiles/rom on the built in flash card. The sd card can still override these, so the settings file on the sd card to initially ge...

- Fantastic, the fun begins:-)
Please feel free to ask for anything you get stuck on. I don't mind being asked the same thing multiple times. - AL 01:36 PM Developer: RE: Any boards arrived?
- I just picked it up from the post office. Tonight a guy is bringing by an mini-ITX case I bought from the local market place.
I'm going to install it this weekend!
