FO 08:21 PM Developer: RE: Relocate that cartridge slot - Cartridge slot extender available to order.
Do you know how to use Eagle? The free version is good enough and its not that hard. You could load the existing sub-board as a base schematic. Then order somewhere like this: http://dirtypcbs.com/store/pcbs foft

Bits of the Past just put a cartridge slot extender up for sale to relocate that cartridge slot from the daughter card... $35 plus shipping...
Also a version including a cartridge guide to deal with those pesky brown Atari cartridges ru...

FO 09:35 PM Developer: RE: USB AB Connector
By mistake, the pin should be removed. foft
91 08:54 AM Developer: USB AB Connector
The internal USB connector has all the pins wired but most USB panel connectors have the last pin in the bottom row physically blocked off. Just wondering why there is a pin there on the internal connector?
Thanks

Yes I think that using these two ic's we cover both cases. sadosp

FO 08:01 AM Developer: RE: Atari 400-style key caps just back from WASD!
I need to do something about the firmware soon, there are about 4 bytes free! Of course we have plenty of resources but it needs some work to map more ram or further restructure the support CPU and firmware. More buttons are after that... foft

FO 07:58 AM Developer: RE: On Off Controller by Maxim
So we'd have this instead of the toggle switch? Then a tps63002 for the stable 5V?
Guess it would be good to have main button on/off, though I do like the toggle:)

SA 12:59 AM Developer: On Off Controller by Maxim
On Off Controller by Maxim, which can be used as on off switch, using a momentary switch. This can be handle a relay and control the 5volt input to the rest pcb circuit, or to control all three "enable" inputs of LDO regulators.

Excellent job! Although I like very much the key-caps, I would prefer a more chocolate version for the main keyboard!
Please inform us when they are ready to order!!

It won't be an issue, once the keyboard layout in Eclaire can be configured. jozsef

What about that one? That's a PC keyboard, mine is designed specifically for the EclaireXL keyboard layout. 917k
JO 12:40 PM Developer: RE: Atari 400-style key caps just back from WASD!
This is the correct one. jozsef

Backlit too. Your one looks far better than the one on Amazon! foft
91 05:20 PM Developer: RE: Atari 400-style key caps just back from WASD!
Thanks. The actual keyboard is a Velocifire TKL-01, it runs about $30 from Amazon. It is painted using Krylon camouflage Khaki spray paint. 917k
FO 07:02 AM Developer: RE: Atari 400-style key caps just back from WASD!
Cool! That looks amazing:)
What is the keyboard that you fitted the keycaps too? Seems to match the 800 case.

Here is a couple of pictures of my key caps based on the Atari 400. I just received them today from WASD...

FO 11:39 AM Developer: RE: new video uploaded
HDMI, dvi and vga mode are 50Hz (HDMI is picky) other modes are 49.86Hz like the Atari. Nir tell me it's still faster though so not sure why!
For ntsc it's 59.94Hz and 59.92Hz iirc.

XX 10:41 AM Developer: RE: new video uploaded
It seems to me that at the beginning Eclair is a little bit late but at the end of demo is ahead of the atari.

I guess I can include svn revision, though will need to find some bytes in the firmware:-) & commit code first! foft
