One thought, the default OS is high speed patched and perhaps that conflicts with your drives. You could try using the standard one too. foft

Just been playing for 20 mins with aspeqt, my real 1050 and the internal drive.
Afraid I can't reproduce this. I suspect a bad SIO cable perhaps?

If you take the disk out of sdrive 1 does it then work? foft

It has to support 512 byte sectors and SPI mode. I tend to use 1-2GB.
I've not tried larger, has anyone else? foft

I should add, I made some simple 'get started' videos. The core has moved on somewhat since, now it stores profiles/rom on the built in flash card. The sd card can still override these, so the settings file on the sd card to initially ge... foft
