Redmine EclaireXL - Feature #87 (New): SI5351 interesting libraryhttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/872021-11-27T08:15:32Zfoft

Looks like worth investigating if I ever use the si5351 again... The software + binary blob output approach wasn't great, this will allow real flexibility in use.

I finally constructed one of these pcbs from Panos for using the XEGS keyboard. I need to expose the i2c signals so that I can check it works.
EclaireXL - Feature #85 (In Progress): 720p support/1080i supporthttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/852019-12-20T20:41:25Zfoft

Implement 720p60 and 720p50 support, with suitable scaling
EclaireXL - Feature #84 (New): Add SIDhttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/842019-11-09T08:56:17Zfoft

Agreed to try adding a SID to the pokeymax.

Eclaire is a good test bed for this, so starting out with that
EclaireXL - Feature #82 (New): Setting for mono pokeyhttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/822019-11-01T21:34:46Zfoft

Hias asked me for a mono pokey mode, where its output to both speakers.
EclaireXL - Feature #79 (New): SDHC and SDXC supporthttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/792019-03-05T20:58:45Zfoft

Test and improve large SD support.

Three issues expected:
i) Fat version (exfat vs fat32)
ii) Card initialization
iii) Sector size

Hoping that much can be supported by just tackling (ii). Can ask users to format fat32.
EclaireXL - Feature #77 (New): Add yPbPr supporthttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/772018-11-26T21:58:07Zfoft

I had a request to add component support to the mist, but why not add to the Eclaire while I'm at it.
EclaireXL - Feature #76 (Resolved): Merge down to trunkhttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/762018-10-05T19:17:35Zfoft

Several requests to get some of these features back up and running on the mist.
EclaireXL - Feature #71 (New): Add support for user firmware updateshttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/712018-06-11T18:24:24Zfoft

Add support to load new firmware from sd card. Then it can be applied immediately for testing or flashed.

I'd like this to make it easier to build/test new firmware.
EclaireXL - Bug #69 (New): Some TVs confused by hdmi audiohttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/692018-06-07T04:43:49ZfoftEclaireXL - Bug #67 (Resolved): Pokey two tone timing problemhttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/672018-06-01T08:42:44Zadmin

An old bug.. See http://atariage.com/forums/topic/228527-pokey-emulation/page-3#entry3060595

high pitched, low pitched on real Atari
EclaireXL - Feature #65 (New): Implement ATA to SPI bridgehttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/652018-05-24T18:44:53Zfoft

There is plenty of software for the Atari which accesses ATA hard drives via a simple register interface. Find out what this interface is and wire it up to the SD card directly. So its possible to use it like the compact flash in an incognito for instance.
EclaireXL - Bug #63 (New): Svideo issues in v20 on board v1 http://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/632018-02-24T19:56:11Zfoft

I am getting a green basic screen sometimes. Seems to be a bad state somewhere since its resolved when I switch to NTSC and back. I suspect something related to the antic highres changes. Easy to reproduce so I can look what is wrong with the output to see the problem.
EclaireXL - Feature #55 (New): Replace main CPUhttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/552017-07-19T18:14:02Zfoft

I really find the stack based zpu annoying to debug. Also as its setup the rom is full.

Consider replacing with something newer, also with gcc support, such as https://github.com/SpinalHDL/VexRiscv.
EclaireXL - Feature #51 (New): Debug porthttp://www.64kib.com/redmine/issues/512017-06-20T17:12:54Zfoft

I'm finding it hard to track down issues in some games/programs. Output debug information so I can look into the problem after the fact.

I'm thinking as a starting point something like this:
8-bit output at 4x clock:
AH,AL,D,FLAG
Where flag is: R/W,ANTIC_FETCH,ANTIC_REFRESH,NMI_N,IRQ_N

Then those with USB streaming scopes - or e.g. FX2s can capture the trace of post-analysis. We can build a validation tool vs some emulators perhaps.
